5 Things to Reflect on Going in to The Final Months of 2022

Hi friends! It feels like forever and I haven't posted a blog in so long. This summer was definitely very busy and productive. Life has brought so many transitions that I decided to take a break from blogging for a while, but I'm back and excited to share new content with you as we head into the last months of the year. November and December are actually my favorite months of the year due to all of the holidays and celebrations. If you haven't already, subscribe to my newsletter so you don't miss a post and please share with others who you think may enjoy this content too!

As Mastering Peace is making a comeback, I thought that it would be great to have a check-in.  I'm sure as we all entered in to 2022, we made plans, set goals, and aspired to create change in various areas of our lives. No matter where we are today, there is so much good that this year still has in store for us. Even if you haven't experienced any good (which I find hard to believe) in the first 10 months of the year, I hope that this is your season.  As we enter into "Quarter Four" I wanted to leave you with some thoughts to reflect on.

  1. What is one thing that you can celebrate from each month of the year so far?

    • It’s so important to acknowledge our wins no matter how big or small. Reflecting on ways that we've been able to succeed in the past also builds confidence that God will assist us in accomplishing our goals in the future.

  2. Are there things that you said you would start, change, or improve this year that you haven't done yet? Why has there been minimal progress in this area? What has been a challenge getting started?

    • Take some time to reflect on what actions are required to gain momentum before the end of the year.

    • Listen, it's not too late. Don’t put it off until the first of the year.

    • You have everything that you need to start now. If you don't believe that you have all that you need, tap into your resources to get started now.

  3. What areas of your life are you currently unhappy or discontent with?

    • Sit with this and figure out why you're unhappy.

    • Pray for God to give you perspective on what you’re going through and strategy to implement changes.

  4. Who are the most important people in your life right now and why?

    • This is a special time of the year, take time to make sure they know how much they meant to you this year.

  5. What are you most looking forward to over the next 2 months?

    • I know that the holiday season can be difficult for some, so if you aren't currently looking forward to anything pray and ask God to give you special things to look forward to.

I hope that you all enjoy the last week of October. This new week brings brand new blessings and battles. I pray that you tap into the grace that you need to handle them both.
