Prayer for April
God thank you for another day and brand new month. Yesterday we had the opportunity to remember your greatest act of love towards us, the sacrifice of your Son. Through Jesus we have new life and a fresh start in Heaven & Earth. We thank you for what the Resurrection represents in our own lives. We recognize that this day coincides perfectly with spring time. Nothing that was dormant in the winter can stay dead unless you allow it. We speak life over every situation that was stagnant and we believe that things are coming back to life. Things that were dry and deserted are getting fresh rain and sunshine to grow again. We know that nothing is impossible with you, and if we are honest sometimes it feels like things are happening for every one around us while we are at a stand still. In April, we ask for a renewed perspective and hope in you. Just like the trees and the flowers bloom again, help up to see that our time too shall come this season. Help us to see the ways that you have preserved us in our minds, bodies, relationships, finances, careers, and dreams. To every situation that we thought was stagnant, hopeless, or dead we ask that you show us all the ways that you've kept us. Thank you for every thing good or bad that you allowed to happen. We thank you for protection and rest that came in the form of stagnation and closed doors. We ask for vision for this next season and that we fall in to alignment with your timing and your plan. As nature comes alive, speak to our hearts and show us what we need to be doing in this season to prepare for everything that you have planned for us. We thank you in advance for promotion, elevation, increase, growth, resources, and breakthrough. We believe that it is on the way.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps. Psalm 85:11-13
Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! Luke 12:27-28
